Position Overview:
The Classroom Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in foundational subject areas to students in grades 3–5. This role includes creating a structured, supportive classroom environment where all students can thrive and achieve success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement engaging, standards-aligned instruction based on the Kentucky Academic Standards
- Develop and deliver effective lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of learners
- Manage classroom behavior and establish a positive, inclusive culture
- Analyze student data to inform instruction and develop targeted growth plans
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff
- Collaborate with colleagues to support school-wide goals and initiatives
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and flexibility in meeting student needs
