What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Supervisor position at ADAC?
Position summary:
The Quality Supervisor is responsible for supervising the Quality Auditors in Molding, Paint, Assembly, Dimensional Audit, and Sort Team. The Quality Auditors are responsible for maintaining compliance to control plans through dimensional audits, in process audits, and visual inspections. Additional responsibilities include non-conforming material management, internal/external audit support, new program launch system task, etc.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Supervise Quality Auditors and Sort Team performance and productivity. Monitor overtime indicators to meet budgeted levels and continually work on improvement. Manage scheduling and staffing
2. Resolution of Quality and Safety Issues. NCM management to be in compliance with procedure.
3. Meet goals and objectives as agreed to with the Quality Manager.
4. Help maintain system compliance for all external and customer audits.
5. Maintain CN task as defined in ADAC Process Development Process.
Education & Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Quality and/or Supervision.
- Technical degree and/or equivalent.
Non-Essential Responsibilities:
- Travel to/from ADAC facilities in West Michigan.
- Travel within the continental United States and abroad.
- Effective Communication and the ability to conduct meetings at all levels.
Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Time Management
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- The ability to discuss, problem solve, and promote innovative ideas.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Must demonstrate effective communication and time management skills when interfacing with various functional group.
