What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Construction Administrator position at Ada County Highway District (ACHD)?
Applications are now being accepted for a Sr. Construction Administrator in the Construction Services Department at Ada County Highway District in the Boise, Idaho area. This is a non-exempt position with a hiring range of $25.10 - $30.50 per hour, DOQ.

Primary Responsibilities:
· The Sr. Construction Administrator is responsible for processing and maintaining records relating to District and federally funded projects to ensure the appropriate federal reimbursement is received.
· The duties of this position include tracking all aspects of a variety of projects, preparing and maintaining document files, material summaries, managing ledgers, EEO, and labor compliance for all federal aid projects.
Qualifications:
· Must have considerable knowledge of federal and state regulations pertaining to contract administration, along with federal and state specifications and standards for highway construction.
· A good working knowledge of construction management practices and techniques as they relate to the principles of road and bridge construction, inspection and materials testing techniques are desired. Experience with Idaho Transportation Department Contract Administration procedures is a plus.
· The successful candidate must be detail oriented, have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), and the ability to perform mathematical calculations.
· Must possess a valid Idaho driver’s license and have all WAQTC Certifications within 6 months.
· College level courses in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred. Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge may be acceptable.
