An Activities Aide helps improve residents’ quality of life by organizing and leading daily activities. Typical duties include:
- Planning games, crafts, music, and social events
- Assisting residents during activities (especially those with mobility or cognitive challenges)
- Encouraging participation and social interaction
- Helping with holiday events and special programs
- Occasionally transporting residents to activity areas
You’ll work closely with an Activities Director and nursing staff.
Part-Time Schedule
Usually 15–30 hours/week
- May include weekends or holidays
- Shifts are often daytime or early evening
Pay: $14/hour
No certification or prior experience is required
