Activities Aide-1

An Activities Aide helps improve residents’ quality of life by organizing and leading daily activities. Typical duties include:

• Planning games, crafts, music, and social events
• Assisting residents during activities (especially those with mobility or cognitive challenges)
• Encouraging participation and social interaction
• Helping with holiday events and special programs
• Occasionally transporting residents to activity areas

You’ll work closely with an Activities Director and nursing staff.

Part-Time Schedule
Usually 15–30 hours/week

• May include weekends or holidays
• Shifts are often daytime or early evening

Pay: $14/hour
No certification or prior experience is required

• It’s an entry-level position
