A Global Biotechnology company is seeking a Temporary Technician to support the installation and upgrade of ImageNet 6 software for their customers. This is an on-site position based in Oakland, NJ. The technician will be responsible for communicating with customers, coordinating installation appointments, performing software upgrades, and documenting all related activities in the company's internal systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contact customers to introduce the project and explain the upgrade process.
- Schedule appointments and clearly communicate what is involved in the upgrade.
- Perform ImageNet 6 software installations and upgrades to the latest Topcon-approved version.
- Document all communications, activities, and results in Salesforce/ServiceMax.
- Provide weekly progress reports to management.
- Follow Topcon’s technical and customer service standards to ensure a smooth upgrade process.
Qualifications:
- Experience with software installation, IT support, or similar technical work.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with CRM or service management systems (Salesforce or ServiceMax a plus).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple customer interactions.
- Customer service–focused attitude and attention to detail.
Additional Details:
This is a temporary on-site position (4–6 months) in Oakland, NJ.
Full training on the Company's ImageNet 6 upgrade process will be provided.
