About the Role:
The Digital Media Buyer II plays a key role in the planning, execution, and optimization of digital advertising campaigns across multiple platforms. This role works closely with the Director of Ad Operations, and other Digital Media Buyers to deliver high-performing campaigns and data-driven insights that support our clients’ strategic goals.
This position requires a blend of analytical skill, strategic thinking, and hands-on management experience. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can lead and collaborate with team members, and is eager to innovate within the ever-changing digital media landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and optimize digital advertising campaigns across programmatic (DSP,SSP), social, and search platforms with a high degree of accuracy.
- Analyze and report on campaign performance, including key metrics and optimization strategies.
- Manage digital campaigns from kickoff through completion with minimal oversight while maintaining strong execution standards.
- Help maintain and interact with vendor relationships (Hulu, Peacock, StackAdapt).
- Conduct research on advertising platforms and emerging opportunities.
- Assist in coordinating smaller campaign teams or project initiatives when needed.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Troubleshoot technical and operational issues throughout the campaign lifecycle.
- Contribute to team best practices, operational improvements, and innovation within the media department.
- Adjust bids, budgets, and mid campaign rotations.
- Track performance against KPIs and identify opportunities for improved efficiency and results.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in digital marketing or media buying with a deep understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem.
- Proven success managing large-budget campaigns and high-profile clients.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign data and present insights clearly.
- Expertise in programmatic ad buying (CTV, OLV, Display).
- Proficiency with major social and digital ad platforms (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.).
- Solid grasp of conversion tracking, attribution, and campaign optimization techniques.
- Foundational data interpretation and storytelling for clients.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in electoral campaigns, advocacy organizations, or political communications.
- Knowledge of DSPs, SSPs, and publisher integrations.
- Familiarity with audience segmentation and media planning tools.
- Understanding of supply path optimization.
