Job Title: Licensed Medical Cannabis Provider – Event Coverage (Contract)
Location: Elizabethtown, KY (with potential statewide opportunities)
Job Type: Contract / As-Needed Event Coverage
Compensation: $300/day OR $20 per approved patient (whichever is greater)
Job Description:
We are seeking a Kentucky-licensed medical provider who is already approved to certify patients for medical cannabis to serve as a clinician for upcoming certification events.
Events are held in partnership with Green Health Docs and local dispensaries to connect patients with qualified providers for medical cannabis evaluations.
This is a flexible, as-needed opportunity with the potential for additional event coverage across Kentucky.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct medical evaluations for patients seeking cannabis certification
- Determine eligibility in accordance with Kentucky medical cannabis regulations
- Complete all required certification documentation
- Provide a professional, efficient, and patient-focused experience
- Coordinate with on-site staff and dispensary partners
Required Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted medical license in Kentucky (MD, DO, NP, or PA)
- Currently licensed/authorized to recommend or certify medical cannabis in Kentucky (REQUIRED)
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Reliable and available for scheduled or short-notice coverage
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with cannabis certification evaluations
- Experience in event-based or high-volume patient settings
Event Details:
- Approx. 6-hour shift
- Initial location: Elizabethtown, KY
- Additional opportunities available statewide
Compensation:
- $300 flat rate per event, OR
- $20 per approved patient, whichever is higher
