AD IT Solution has a client in search of a talented Quality Assurance Automation Engineer.
Job Location: ANYWHERE IN USA (OPEN TO RELOCATE)
Job Duties:
Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure software quality and performance.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Identify, document, and track defects and issues in test management tools.
Work closely with the development team to debug and resolve issues.
Implement continuous integration and continuous testing methodologies.
Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data.
Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide recommendations for improvements.
Ensure compliance with software quality standards and best practices.
Requirements:
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Strong proficiency in automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, or similar).
Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
Solid understanding of SQL for database validation.
Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git, Bitbucket) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and testing in an Agile environment.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and translate business requirements into test cases.
Experience with performance and security testing is a plus.
Quality Assurance Automation Engineer will be able to:
Quickly understand business processes and system functionality.
Design and implement automated test scripts to validate business requirements.
Identify key metrics for assessing test coverage and software quality.
Act as an advisor to improve automation strategies and processes.
Work closely with development and IT teams to ensure smooth test execution.
Maintain and enhance automated testing frameworks and tools.
