Ad hoc Research is looking for a Senior Logistics specialist to support the Army Watercraft Communications systems in Fort Eustis, VA.

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Logistics/Procurement technician to join our team.

Job Description:

· The program specializes in C5ISR Army Watercraft Sustainment Maintenance Electronic Equipment. Basic Logistics, Warehouse, and Procurement knowledge is preferable.

· Duties include, but not limited to, general warehouse activities, customer service, receiving and shipping, inventory management, and operation of various material handling equipment. Specifically, receiving incoming shipments, picking and filling parts request orders, packing and labeling orders for shipment, data entry, maintaining inventory database, and keeping the work area clean, organized, and free of clutter.

· Ability to assist in procurement processes by researching parts and comparing vendors, goods and services, is desired. Willingness to learn and provide insightful input for replacements for possible obsolete equipment.

· Detailed data entry is required in maintaining records of all transactions, purchase orders, parts request, and receipts.

· Assist and document quarterly and annual Inventory counts as directed.

· Should have excellent organizational, time management, communication (written and verbal), and problem-solving skills. Positive customer service skills needed.

· Good organizational skills with excellent attention to detail for ensuring the accuracy of inventory records, identifying discrepancies, correcting errors promptly or requesting Management support as required.

· Should be dependable, self-motivated, able to work independently without constant tasking, and as part of a team. Should be detail-oriented, reliable and trustworthy.

Requirements:

· Secret Clearance Required

· Forklift Experience Required and able to get Certified.

· Must be able to lift 75 pounds

Skills:

· Desired proficiency in Microsoft Excel Program, used daily requires accurate updates.

· Proficient Computer skills with all Microsoft Office Applications, i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook

· Preferable proficiency in inventory software, database systems, or a minimum working knowledge of inventory management software. If Possible, WASP Inventory System knowledge.

· Knowledge of Commercial Global Shipping, Schedule B Tariff codes and Military Freight processes and paperwork are useful but not required.
