vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension through classic children’s literature

and read-alouds.

o Spelling & Vocabulary: Systematic instruction in spelling rules, word study,

and vocabulary building.

o Writing & Grammar: Copywork, dictation, narration, paragraph writing, and

grammar instruction.

o Mathematics: Singapore Mathematics (Dimensions Math), emphasizing

conceptual mastery, problem-solving, and application.

o Handwriting: Refinement of manuscript and transition into cursive.

o Bible: Scripture memorization, catechism, and biblical worldview

integration.

o History: Foundational surveys of civilizations, people, and stories shaping

the Christian and Western heritage.

o Science: Nature studies, observation, and age-appropriate explorations of

God’s creation.

o Enrichment: Exposure to art, music, poetry, and Latin introduction.

• Employ classical pedagogy: narration, recitation, chanting, imitation, Socratic

dialogue, and hands-on activities.

• Integrate biblical truth across all subjects, teaching students to love truth,

goodness, and beauty.

• Establish a joyful, orderly classroom environment with discipline rooted in biblical

wisdom.

• Communicate consistently with parents through progress reports, conferences, and

weekly updates.

• Collaborate with Grammar School faculty to ensure continuity and vertical

• Assess student learning through developmentally appropriate means and provide

timely, constructive feedback.

• Participate actively in faculty meetings, professional development, and school-wide
