About Ad Astra Autism Centers

At Ad Astra, our name means “to the stars,” and we believe that’s exactly where every child can go with the right support. We are an early intervention ABA therapy provider serving children up to age 6 in a center-based, play-driven environment. Our team is collaborative, energized, and deeply focused on high-quality care, without the paperwork overload.

We’re growing quickly and are looking for a Provisionally Licensed Behavior Analyst (PLBA) who is eager to build strong clinical foundations in a center-based setting. If you’re early in your career, value hands-on learning, and want structured mentorship without being overwhelmed, we’d love to meet you.

Your Role

As a PLBA, you’ll manage a small, supportive caseload while receiving comprehensive clinical training and supervision from experienced BCBAs and Clinical Directors. This role is designed to help you grow confidently as a clinician while developing the skills needed for long-term success as a fully licensed BCBA.

You’ll receive extensive, hands-on training and supervision, with significant opportunities to accrue supervised fieldwork hours as part of your day-to-day responsibilities. Administrative burden is intentionally kept low so you can focus on learning, clinical quality, and client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and assist with initial and ongoing assessments (VB-MAPP, ABLLS, etc.)
  • Help develop, implement, and maintain individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision
  • Provide direct supervision and coaching to RBTs, with guidance and mentorship
  • Collect, review, and analyze client data to support treatment decisions
  • Participate in caregiver meetings and monthly check-ins alongside supervising BCBAs
  • Provide hands-on clinical support in the center as needed
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation with supervision and feedback
  • Actively participate in training, supervision meetings, and professional development
  • Uphold ethical standards and clinical best practices

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field (completed or in progress, as applicable)
  • Active Provisional License as a Behavior Analyst in Missouri (PLBA)
  • Enrollment in, or completion of, required coursework toward BCBA certification
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Passion for early intervention and center-based ABA
  • Desire for mentorship, growth, and collaborative team-based care

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary
  • Small, manageable caseload designed for learning and growth
  • Comprehensive onboarding, training, and ongoing clinical supervision
  • Robust opportunities to earn supervised fieldwork hours as part of your role
  • Low administrative burden with dedicated operations and admin support
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Paid time off (PTO), sick days, and federal holidays
  • Extra PTO day on birthday
  • BCBA exam paid for prep resources
  • Clear pathway to BCBA licensure and internal advancement
  • Supportive, no-drama culture focused on clinical excellence and professional growth
