Ad Astra Advocacy Center is a Child Advocacy Center (CAC) — a safe, child‑focused space where multidisciplinary professionals work together to support children who have experienced abuse. Our mission is “to foster healing and restore hope by providing a safe, welcoming space where survivors of trauma can share their stories and receive compassionate, coordinated care.”

We are seeking a full‑time Therapist to provide trauma‑focused assessment and treatment for children and their supportive caregivers. This role includes providing PSB‑CBT services (training provided).

• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans
• Provide evidence‑based, trauma‑informed therapy (TF‑CBT, PSB‑CBT, PCIT, CBITS, EMDR, play therapy, etc.)
• Offer individual and group therapy
• Facilitate caregiver support and psychoeducation
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Participate in MDT and staff meetings
• Attend ongoing training and professional development

• Master’s‑level professional license in Kansas (in good standing)
• Experience working with children and families impacted by abuse
• Knowledge of trauma‑informed care and treatment planning
• Ability to work with diverse populations
• Some evening availability
• Ability to pass background and child abuse registry checks

• Clinical licensure (LCPC, LSCSW, LCMFT, etc.)
• 3 years working with abused children
• Certification in TF‑CBT, PCIT, CBITS, or EMDR

• $60,000–$65,000/year (based on license & experience)
• Training in TF‑CBT and PSB‑CBT
