Role Description
This is a full-time on-site or remote role for a Court Certified Spanish Interpreter, based in UT or RI states. The primary responsibilities include providing accurate and professional court interpretation services, including consecutive and simultaneous interpretation. The interpreter will also contribute by facilitating communication between Spanish-speaking and English-speaking parties in legal and courtroom settings, ensuring a clear and efficient exchange of information.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Court Interpretation and certified proficiency in Spanish as required by the relevant state (UT & RI).
- Proficiency in Consecutive Interpretation and Simultaneous Interpretation techniques.
- Experience and expertise in Translation and general Interpreting practices.
- Excellent understanding of legal terminologies and procedures in both English and Spanish.
- Professional demeanor, punctuality, and the ability to work under strict confidentiality guidelines.
- Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure court environments, demonstrating attention to detail and accuracy.
