AcutePet Urgent Care is opening in West Cleveland (Avon) later this Fall- and we’re intentionally assembling a small, founding team of veterinarians who want more than just a job.

This location allows AcutePet to support pets and families across Avon, Avon Lake, Westlake, North Ridgeville, Bay Village, Rocky River, and the surrounding region.

AcutePet Avon will bring emergency-level medicine into an urgent care setting — giving local pet owners a more affordable, accessible option while supporting, not competing with, the primary care veterinarians who know these pets best.

You’ll see cases like:

• Lacerations and minor trauma

• GI obstruction workups

• Toxin ingestions

• Acute vomiting/diarrhea

• Urgent diagnostics and stabilization

All without overnights or major holidays.

We’re hiring founding DVMs who want to help establish the clinical tone and culture of this hospital from day one.

What We’re Looking For

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (or equivalent)

• All experience levels welcome

• Interest in urgent care or emergency-style diagnostics

• Strong clinical reasoning and thoughtful patient care

• Clear, compassionate client communication
