We are currently looking for a well-versed Powder Coating and Wet Paint Manager. Our perfect candidate should have experience as follows:

• ‪Must have a thorough understanding of all powder coating line job duties including hanging, offloading, inspecting and packaging
• ‪Clean powder coating lines and booths, related equipment, and work areas
• ‪Determine paint flow, Mil thickness, and coating quality by performing visual inspections, or by using a Mil gauge
• Maintenance of spray gun parts and booths as required
• ‪Understand and meet or exceed daily productivity requirements
• ‪Active involvement in continuous improvement activities and initiatives
• ‪Produce product that conforms 100% to customer requirements
• ‪Operate and maintain a safe and clean working environment
• ‪Perform other miscellaneous duties assigned by Supervisor or Manager
• Troubleshoot technical problems
• Understand bake times
• Coordinate the daily production plan
• Functions as the “go-to” person in the department
• Coaches, mentors and works with all team members in their specific work areas to facilitate and coordinate fabricated product readiness and priority
• Monitors quality of work performed by team members that is to be coated
• Arrange incoming product to ensure area is clean and organize
• Prep material as necessary for coatings
• Sandblasting experience
• Five years commercial powder coating experience
