Salary Range: $47,000 - $57,000 annually, plus bonus eligibility
Summary: Provide a luxury shopping experience for all customers at the Scotty Cameron Gallery.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a luxury shopping experience for all customers. Greet customers and ascertain what each customer wants and/or needs. Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires. Promote the attributes of the merchandise and answer all customer questions. Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices. Arrange and display merchandise to promote sales.
- Process cash and credit purchases accurately using the POS system. Assist with opening and closing cash registers, performing tasks such as counting money, separating charge slips, coupons, and vouchers, balancing cash drawers, and making deposits.
- Ensure the store is clean and presentable to customers at all times.
- Watch for and recognize security risks and thefts and know how to prevent or handle these situations.
- Learn all key elements of the brand to include the inspirations and stories behind the many unique Scotty Cameron creations including putters, head-covers, apparel, and accessories.
- Responsible for maintaining proper inventories of office supplies and other items necessary for the continuity of the business. Will include making requests to Manager and Studio for fulfillment.
- Assist with Retail Pro maintenance and with Cycle Count preparation and execution.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Some college and/or degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in luxury brand sales and service required.
- Must have familiarity with POS Systems and become competent with Retail Pro.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs. and go up and down flight of stairs.
- Must have Scotty Cameron Brand Product knowledge.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Lotus Notes.
