What are the responsibilities and job description for the ACURA / HONDA A and B SERVICE TECHNICIANS position at ACURA OF RAMSEY?
To support our growth, Acura of Ramsey is looking to add several experienced A and B Acura / Honda service technicians to our team. Our starting pay rate for ALL of our flat rate line technicians is between $25.00 and $40.00 per flat rate hour depending on experience.
Our dealership has been approved for a warranty multiplier which means our tech get paid 2.22 times the warranty hours for all warranty repairs. 1 hour equals 2.22 hours.
You must have a minimum of 5 years of dealership experience to qualify for these positions, BUT know, if your are a certified Acura / Honda technician – WE WILL PAY YOU UP TO to $40.00 per HOUR … ALL of our of our technician positions have a very strong pay plan that provides the opportunity for significant incentives above the base rate - and start paying from hour one on day one!
What You Do:
- Conduct repairs, maintenance and inspections on Acura vehicles
- Line mechanic with all around experience
- Diagnosis, chassis, brake, suspension, electrical and engine repair including extensive manufacturer recall work
- Inspect vehicles for repairs and service needs using digital multi-point inspections and test tools
- Document and report on items completed and those in need of further service via electronic repair orders included within the dealer computer system
- Complete and attend manufacturer training as required
Successful attributes and skills:
- Own your tools - required
- Valid driver’s license, must pass background review

- Technical certification and training a plus
- State inspection license where applicable
