Job Overview
Join our healthcare team as an Acupuncture Assistant, where you will play a vital role in supporting holistic patient care through acupuncture and related therapies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside licensed acupuncturists in a clinical environment dedicated to promoting wellness and healing. Opportunities for additionally performing 1 hour massages at a higher hourly pay rate are available, but the majority of this job will be assisting with acupuncture patients.
Duties
- Assist licensed acupuncturists during patient sessions by positioning patients, applying necessary materials for cupping and moxibustion, and monitoring comfort levels. Perform a brief 10 minute massage at the end of each acupuncture session.
- Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to provide comprehensive patient assessments and update treatment notes
- Clean and prepare patient rooms, maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming clinical environment that adheres to health regulations and standards.
Experience
- No previous experience is necessary, just a willingness to learn, but a valid Florida Massage License is required.
