Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Acupath Laboratories, Inc., a CLIA-approved, NYS-licensed, with a CAP-accredited Diagnostics Division is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to facilitate pickups and deliveries to / from medical laboratory. This role is critical to ensuring that our laboratory operates at our peak capacity.

The following statements outline the general duties, responsibilities, and competencies required to perform the essential functions of this role. They are not intended to provide an exhaustive list of all tasks and expectations associated with the position.

Responsibilities:

· Receive deliveries from UPS, USPS, FedEx, and other delivery providers.

· Distribute received materials to appropriate departments and/or personnel.

· Prepare shipments for delivery.

· Prepare kits and vials necessary for supply orders.

· Print requisition forms.

· Monthly inventory of requisition forms and kit supplies.

· Assist reception and Sales Representatives with questions regarding clients and supplies.

· Dispose of cardboard and various other debris.

· Assist service vendors.

· Change or fix lighting in the building.

· Carry out other projects and/or duties that may be assigned occasionally.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

· Attention to detail and ability to work independently or on a team.

· Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
