Full Stack Software Developer (.NET & React, AI-Enabled SDLC)
Location: Jersey City, NJ / Midtown NYC
Type: Contract
We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Software Developer with strong experience in .NET backend development and React frontend engineering, combined with hands-on exposure to AI-assisted software development tools and practices.
This role will work closely with internal AI and engineering teams to help drive AI-enabled SDLC transformation initiatives, accelerate delivery, and improve software quality through modern AI-assisted development workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using .NET/C# and React
- Build modern APIs, backend services, and responsive frontend applications
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or similar platforms
- Apply AI across SDLC phases including coding, debugging, testing, and documentation
- Collaborate with AI, Product, and Engineering teams to refine AI-driven development frameworks
- Participate in Agile development, sprint planning, and rapid delivery cycles
- Support architecture discussions, technical design, and solution optimization
- Ensure application performance, scalability, and code quality standards
Required Skills
- 5 years of Full Stack Development experience
- Strong expertise in:
- .NET / C# / ASP.NET Core
- React / JavaScript / TypeScript
- Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture
- Hands-on experience with AI coding/development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, etc.)
- Strong understanding of Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AI-assisted SDLC frameworks (BMAD or similar)
- Exposure to prompt-driven development and automated code generation
- Cloud experience with Azure or AWS
- Experience working in fast-paced innovation or AI-focused environments
