Role: Network Infrastructure Design Engineer (Space & Power)
Location: Ashburn, VA / Denver, CO / Dallas, TX / Phoenix, AZ / Menlo Park, CA (Onsite)
Type: Full-Time
Overview:
Seeking experienced engineers to design and deliver scalable, high-availability data center infrastructure with a focus on space, power, cooling, and network connectivity.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy data center infrastructure (space, power, cooling, network)
- Develop standards, documentation, and best practices
- Collaborate with engineering, construction, and operations teams
- Support commissioning, provisioning, and operational readiness
- Drive scalability, efficiency, and infrastructure improvements
Requirements:
- 6–20 years in data center design / infrastructure engineering
- Experience with power systems (UPS, PDU) and cooling (HVAC, CRAC/CRAH)
- Strong knowledge of structured cabling and fiber optics
- Understanding of networking (TCP/IP, routing, switching)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
- Certifications: CDCP / CDCDP
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, DCIM tools
- Knowledge of BMS, security systems, and scripting (Python/Linux)
