What are the responsibilities and job description for the DataDog/AppDynamics position at Acumenz Consulting?
Location: Scottsdale, AZ – 2 days onsite mandatory
Contract: 1 year, with potential renewal
We are looking for a DataDog/AppDynamics resource with the following key skills:
· 5 years of full-stack observability experience, with strong hands-on expertise in DataDog and AppDynamics
· Agent deployment, configuration, customization, and troubleshooting
· Native mobile, browser real-user, and synthetic monitoring
· Quantum Metrics experience
· Automation using GitOps and Python
· 3 years of GCP experience with a solid understanding of Kubernetes
· Strong experience with APM, metrics, logs, traces, monitoring solutions, and alerting strategies
· Exposure to Prometheus, OpenTelemetry (OTel), Grafana, and Dynatrace preferred
· AI-driven automation, noise reduction, and toil reduction experience is a plus
Role split: 70% hands-on administration/automation across DataDog, AppDynamics, and Quantum Metrics; 30% SRE work involving Prometheus, OTel, Grafana, and related tooling.
