Job Summary
Responsible for developing and implementing strategies that ensure the proper operation and functionality of the General Services area, including break areas, common areas, office supplies, offices, and plant visits.Develops and executes General Services, Culture, and Employee Engagement policies and procedures.Creates and drives a strategic plan to enhance organizational culture through communication tools, recognition programs, company values, and social responsibility initiatives. Works closely with U.S. facility engagement teams to promote participation in employee engagement activities across all levels of the organization.Leads the planning and execution of plant-level events and visits. Supports Training & Development activities, employee onboarding coordination, compliance training tracking, and basic career development initiatives. Partners with HR and Operations leaders to ensure employees have access to learning opportunities aligned with organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and coordinate workspaces and common areas.
- Develop and execute the annual Culture, Engagement, and Events calendar.
- Coordinate plant events, visits, and activities that promote organizational culture and employee engagement.
- Prepare and present process metrics and results to Management and HR.
- Evaluate General Service providers and follow up on action plans (cleaning services and other vendors).
- Audit legal and contractual compliance of General Service providers.
- Manage and track payments to General Service providers.
- Promote and market events, ensuring activities are documented and communicated internally and externally.
- Coordinate employee onboarding logistics, including facility orientation and compliance requirements.
- Track and support mandatory training and compliance programs (safety, regulatory, and other required training).
- Coordinate training schedules with internal leaders and external instructors as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Hospitality, Communications, or related field.
- Experience Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in General Services administration.
- Experience managing vendors and service providers.
- Experience with administrative controls, budgets, expenses, and inventories.
- Experience coordinating employee engagement activities, events, onboarding, or training programs preferred.
- Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
- Experience with administrative controls (inventories, expenses, budgets).
- Supplier/vendor negotiation and information analysis.
- Knowledge of General Services administration.
- Experience coordinating onboarding and training activities.
Travel Requirements
- 26% – 50%.
