What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Support Analyst Intern position at Acuity Insurance?
Acuity is seeking a Technical Support Analyst Intern to install PC systems and peripherals. This role will load and verify operation of software such as operating system, word processors, and spreadsheets. The intern will troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and user problems and makes minor repairs. Also provide end user training and technical assistance to user.
Start Date: May 2026
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Associate Degree program with an emphasis in Computer Science or MIS with a high degree of achievement. Previous related experience also considered.
EXPERIENCE:
Exposure and/or experience in computer software and hardware installation, Windows OS, and troubleshooting skills preferred. Network technical training or equivalent and experience in network communications desirable.

- Installation at the client workstations of the needed hardware and software. Also provide the assistance to keep the desktop systems running efficiently for the client location.
- Maintain the integrity of the system documentation.
- Train and educate self in the new areas of job knowledge through education, self-study, and/or reading trade journals.
- Regular, predictable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
