Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Operate radiology equipment such as X-ray, MRI, CT, and ultrasound machines to capture diagnostic images.
• Ensure the proper positioning of patients to obtain clear and accurate images.
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow safety protocols to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure.
• Review and process images for quality and clarity before submitting them for interpretation.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and imaging logs.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  
  

Skills And Qualifications

• Certification or licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent).
• Proven experience in operating various radiology imaging equipment.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and radiation safety procedures.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
