What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receiving / Inventory Clerk position at ACUITY, A Mutual Insurance Company?
Acuity is seeking a Receiving / Inventory Clerk to receive, store and control company inventory, supplies and forms per established procedures. The clerk will gather, packages and distribute/ship equipment, supplies and forms as requested by agents and employees.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Receive and unload trucks (20%)
- Fill e-mail equipment/supply/form requests from inventory. Distribute or ship items as appropriate (20%).
- Validate that items and quantities received match issued purchase orders (5%).
- Complete receiving function within Lawson (5%).
- Transport received items to storage and stock shelves (5%).
- Input corporate fleet invoice records into mainframe tracking system (5%).
- Work with Facilities and Accounting to count and reconcile physical inventory; complete asset management updates in Lawson (1%).
- Complete inventory updates in mainframe tracking system (1%).
- Stage, assemble, package and disperse large-scale special projects.
- Keep receiving, storage and garaging areas neat and clean.
- Regular, and predictable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
High school graduate or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE:
Keyboarding skills required; familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel helpful.
OTHER:
- Ability to lift boxes weighing 50 pounds.
- Organized with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work with a minimum of supervision.
