Machine Operator- 3RD SHIFT ONLY 10PM- 6AM Sunday-Thursday
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Operator to join our team at Acucote, part of Fedrigoni Self-Adhesives. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining coating or converting machines within a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of machines, meeting production goals, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain coating or converting machines in a manufacturing setting to ensure consistent production output.
- Set up machines for production runs, including making necessary tooling changes and adjusting programming parameters.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance with production specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and preventive maintenance tasks to keep machinery in optimal working condition.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine-related issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet production targets and ensure adherence to company standards.
- Follow work instructions and production schedules accurately to ensure efficient and high-quality production.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in materials handling and fabrication techniques.
- Strong knowledge of tooling, machine operations, and programming.
- Experience operating milling machines and precision measuring instruments.
- Familiarity with hand tools used in machining processes.
- Experience with operating stamping presses and related equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues during production runs.
- Forklift certification or prior experience is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
