Acture Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Sr. Systems Engineer to join our Corporate Centralized Services team. This hybrid role supports a wide range of government, education, and commercial clients. What You’ll Do

•    Design, implement, and maintain Windows and Linux server environments.

•    Administer and support enterprise software applications, including installations, updates, and troubleshooting.

•    Manage user accounts and access controls across Active Directory and Azure (Entra ID).

•    Implement and enforce IT security policies to protect system integrity.

•    Monitor and optimize system performance proactively.

•    Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans.

•    Provide advanced support and collaborate with Help Desk teams.

•    Manage OS/application patching and system updates.

•    Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge sharing.

•    Lead and participate in IT infrastructure projects.

What You Bring

•    Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

•    6 years in systems engineering or enterprise IT environments, with demonstrated responsibility in server administration, system design, and project implementation.

•    Proven experience designing and managing complex Windows server environments.

•    Expertise in both Windows and Linux systems and Azure infrastructure (Azure AD-Entra ID required)

•    Mobile Device Management experience

•    Effective communication and documentation skills.

•    Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Server , Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server) preferred.

•    Applicants must currently reside within an hour commute of the job posting location.

Physical Requirements

•    Ability to lift and transport equipment up to 40 lbs. (e.g., servers, network gear)

•    Occasional travel to client sites or data centers may be required

•    Manual dexterity to operate tools, keyboards, and standard office/IT equipment

•    Ability to bend, kneel, or reach as needed to access hardware in server racks or under desks
