- Perform wheel alignments using state-of-the-art alignment equipment, ensuring precise specifications are met for each vehicle.
- Diagnose suspension issues, including shocks, struts, and steering components, to determine necessary repairs or replacements.
- Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections focusing on tire service, brake systems, and steering mechanisms to identify potential issues.
- Utilize schematics and automotive electrical systems knowledge to troubleshoot complex problems effectively.
- Assist with related automotive repairs such as oil changes, brake repairs, transmission work, and powertrain maintenance.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete repairs according to manufacturer standards.
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings clearly with team members and customers to ensure transparency and satisfaction.
- Proven dealership or automotive repair shop experience with a focus on alignment services.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of suspension systems, tire service, shocks & struts, and wheel alignment procedures.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and schematics for troubleshooting electrical or mechanical issues.
- Experience working with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) is a plus.
- Ability to read technical manuals and automotive electrical systems diagrams accurately.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools safely.
- Knowledge of GM vehicles or diesel engine repair is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
- Valid certification in automotive repair or technician training preferred; ongoing training encouraged for skill development.
