Thriving work culture is seeking a conscientious, motivated, licensed insurance agent who enjoys working with people and helping them find solutions. The role of this position is the production of new accounts and the retention of existing accounts. The Account Manager will provide prompt, efficient, high-quality service to clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the remarketing of current client policies
- Look for cross-sell opportunities when speaking with clients
- Complete Acord forms and COIs and ensure accuracy
- Process payments
- Conduct policy reviews.
- Present and explain insurance policy options based upon prospective client needs and their personal goals.
- Process change requests to existing policies
- Communicate with insureds and underwriters to ensure risks are properly accessed, re-marketed, and written.
- Respond to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within a specified time frame
- Other functions as assigned by management
REQUIREMENTS
- Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful as well as coachable
- Professional phone etiquette
- Display leadership competencies, including ability to delegate, engage, and inspire others
- Strong work ethic and leadership skills
- Successful sales background
- Must be personable, knowledgeable, dependable, and work well in a team environment
- Effective presentation skills both verbally and in writing are necessary.
- Ability to use a personal computer, agency automation system, and proficiency in various software programs, including, but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
