Diesel Technician

We are seeking a experienced and dedicated Diesel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical and technical knowledge and experience in diesel engine repair. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and the ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues effectively and efficiently.

Duties

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Conduct diagnostics to identify problems using automotive diagnostic tools.
• Repair and replace defective parts, components, or systems in diesel engines.
• Operate heavy equipment as needed for repairs or testing.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
• Perform Computer Diagnostics.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Diesel Technician or similar role in vehicle maintenance.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in diesel engine repair.
• Familiarity with non factory automotive diagnostics tools.
• Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred.
• Effectively read and understand electrical diagrams.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn new techniques and stay updated on industry advancements.
• Certification from a recognized trade school or equivalent experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license; CDL is a plus.
