State Vehicle Inspector Certification Required

ACTS Fleet Maintenance is hiring experienced Diesel Technicians to join our growing team. We service medium and heavy-duty commercial trucks and fleet vehicles both in the shop and in the field.

• $30.00-$50.00 per hour based on experience

What You'll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance and DOT inspections
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines
• Troubleshoot electrical, emissions, and aftertreatment systems
• Repair brake, steering, suspension, driveline, and transmission systems
• Use OEM and aftermarket diagnostic software and scan tools
• Complete inspections and repair documentation accurately
• Verify repairs through testing and quality inspections
• Support customers through both shop and mobile service operations
  
  

Mobile Service Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment at customer locations
• Operate independently and manage daily service calls
• Deliver professional customer service
• Maintain a safe and organized mobile work environment
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Diesel Technician, Diesel Mechanic, Fleet Technician, or Heavy Truck Technician
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
• Experience with medium and heavy-duty trucks
• Familiarity with OEM and aftermarket diagnostic tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license
• CDL preferred but not required
• State Certified Vehicle Inspector Certification Required
