This is a full-time, on-site role for a Security Installer and Technician, based in Swansboro, NC. The position involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electronic security systems such as CCTV, access control systems, and monitoring equipment. The technician will also be responsible for configuring and testing hardware and software, ensuring all systems are functioning correctly and meet client requirements. This role requires attention to detail, accurate documentation, and prioritizing customer satisfaction while working with both new installations and existing system upgrades.
- Technical expertise in installing and maintaining CCTV systems, access control systems, and security monitoring equipment
- Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing hardware/software malfunctions
- Experience in wiring, system integration, and system configuration
- Strong knowledge of network security, IP networks, and system programming
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical fitness to handle installations, including lifting and working in small or elevated spaces
- Valid driver's license is required
