A well-established commercial construction company is seeking an experienced Estimator to support project forecasting and bidding while the current estimator is out on leave. This role plays a key part in helping the contractor prepare competitive proposals, analyze project data, and keep all estimating documentation accurate and organized.
What You’ll Do
• Calculate and estimate project costs for commercial construction jobs
• Forecast timelines, materials, and labor needs
• Assist the contractor in preparing competitive and profitable bids
• Review analysis reports, purchase orders, subcontracts, and related documentation
• Prepare updated estimates and maintain project files
• Gather and verify data used to produce complete bid packages
• Support overall estimating operations during a critical coverage period
What We’re Looking For
• 5–7 years of estimating experience (commercial construction preferred)
• Professional, polished communication and presentation skills
• Excellent written, verbal, and computer skills
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to stay organized
• College degree preferred
