Logistics Materials Coordinator

At our Grand Rapids, MI, 49503 facility, your morning starts with inbound trucks pulling to the dock. You greet deliveries, verify counts and condition, and record every detail in our system. With a quick forklift safety check, you move pallets to their homes so production teams have what they need—exactly when they need it. By midday, you’re staging outgoing orders, double-checking accuracy against quality standards, and collaborating with teammates to keep schedules on track. Before close, you tidy work areas, knock out a cycle count, and make sure tomorrow’s plan is set.

• Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials and supplies with precision.
• Place and organize inventory in designated locations to keep workflows efficient.
• Pick, stage, and prepare outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality requirements.
• Operate forklifts and related material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Work closely with production and warehouse teammates to meet goals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain clean, orderly aisles and docks while following all safety protocols.
• Support inventory control through routine cycle counts and adjustments as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Experience in material handling or warehouse operations preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other equipment; certification is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational habits.
• Comfort with physical work, including lifting and moving heavy materials.
• Clear communication and a collaborative approach.
• Basic computer skills for inventory transactions and documentation.
