What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner (Pain Management) position at Active Vital Care?
We’re seeking an experienced NP or PA in Arizona to join our growing pain management team. This role offers flexible full-time or part-time scheduling, with care provided through in-person house calls and/or telehealth.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients and develop individualized pain management plans.
- Prescribe and monitor medications as appropriate.
- Perform interventional procedures under physician supervision, as applicable.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients on pain management strategies and document care in the EHR.
Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted Arizona NP or PA license.
- Active DEA registration or ability to obtain one before or upon hire.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience; pain management experience preferred.
- Current CPR/BLS certification and other relevant certifications as applicable.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and EHR skills.
