We are a well-established and respected Outpatient Physical Therapy Practice looking for an Occupational Therapist to add to our team in our Port Huron location.
It is a Part-Time Position (2 days per week; Monday and Wednesdays from 1:00 PM - 5:30 PM).
Previous experience in an outpatient setting is preferable but willing to train the right candidate. This position will be primarily working with infants and children.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate patients' physical/occupational conditions and needs in an outpatient setting.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual goals and progress.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, home care, and preventive measures.
- Provide hands-on occupational therapy techniques, including trigger point therapy and exercises.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes
Hours: Monday and Wednesday 1:00 PM - 5:30 PM
Pay is very Competitive and based on experience.
Requirements: Minimum Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy; Doctorate preferred; Current Michigan State License.
