What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Service Worker (DSW) Weekend position at Active Personal Care Services?
Available shift: Saturday and Sunday
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
-Provide transportation to doctors' appointments and weekly outings
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and restrictions
- Administer medication
- Provide companionship and engage in social activities with individuals
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Advocate for resident rights and ensure their dignity is respected
