Duties
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and engine system issues on motorcycles and all-terrain vehicles using diagnostic tools and automotive diagnostics equipment
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, suspension adjustments, tire replacements, and vehicle inspections
- Repair or replace faulty components including engines, electrical systems, brakes, suspensions, and welding or soldering parts as needed
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical devices to assemble, disassemble, and repair vehicle parts efficiently
- Conduct basic troubleshooting to identify issues quickly and accurately while providing clear explanations to customers about repairs needed
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all repairs performed
- Assist with vehicle assembly and ensure all work meets safety standards and quality expectations
Experience
- Proven dealership experience or service technician background in powersports or automotive repair environments
- Strong mechanical knowledge of motorcycle operation and repair techniques including engine systems, electrical diagnostics, suspension work, brake systems, and welding skills
- Hands-on experience with automotive engine system repair using diagnostic tools and electrical diagnostics equipment
- Familiarity with all-terrain vehicle repair and basic vehicle troubleshooting procedures
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, welding gear, and other mechanical devices safely and effectively
- Customer service experience with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients
- Experience with heavy lifting and working in physically demanding environments is preferred
- Knowledge of sales processes related to vehicle maintenance services is a plus
