What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chiropractic Assistant/Receptionist position at Active Family Chiropractic & Acupuncture?
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and check them in and out with a SMILE!
- Provide excellent customer service and patient care.
- Answering phones, scheduling, and rescheduling appointments.
- Learn and perform passive therapies including intersegmental traction, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, spinal decompression, and cold laser.
- Work closely with doctors to instruct and lead stretches and exercises with patients.
- Participate in and maintain healthy workplace culture.
- Detailed record keeping for patient records and insurance.
- Maintain professionalism in and out of the office.
- Be on time, reliable, and stable.
- Learn insurance information and how it applies in a Chiropractic setting.
- Complete 90 day training checklist.
- Clean patient rooms and maintain a neat and tidy office.
- Bilingual preferred but not required.
Requirements:
Technology: Applicant must be a proficient typist, proficiency with Gmail, Google docs, and Microsoft products.
Interpersonal Skills: Applicants must have excellent communication skills, emotional intelligence, and be open to constructive coaching from managers and doctors. Ability to function in a fast paced environment.
Personality Strengths: Outgoing, happy, energetic, health conscious, enjoys talking to and working with people, smiley is a must, ability to both focus and multi-task when needed.
