Active Dental is growing and looking to add a Dental Hygienist to our Plano and Irving teams!

Key Responsibilities

• Create a comfortable, welcoming experience for patients

• Perform oral health screenings and review dental history

• Identify conditions such as gingivitis, caries, and periodontal disease

• Clean and protect teeth (plaque removal, fluoride application, etc.)

• Educate patients of all ages on proper oral hygiene

• Take X-rays and dental impressions as needed

• Assist dentists in treatment planning

• Maintain accurate patient records and charts

• Ensure proper sterilization and supply monitoring

Qualifications

• Valid dental hygiene license

• Knowledge of HIPAA and safety regulations

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Patient-focused, friendly demeanor

• Detail-oriented with the stamina for a clinical environment
