This is a hands-on role responsible for building recurring dashboards and reports, improving core HR workflows, supporting shared-services operations, and helping create a more scalable People function as the organization grows.

Position Summary
Active Day is seeking a HR Operations Analyst to help strengthen HR operations, people reporting, process consistency, and service delivery across a multi-state workforce. This is a hands-on role responsible for building recurring dashboards and reports, improving core HR workflows, supporting shared-services operations, and helping create a more scalable People function as the organization grows.
This role is ideal for a strong analyst or operations professional who enjoys turning data into practical insight, creating structure in fast-moving environments, and partnering across teams to improve how work gets done.
Key Responsibilities
- Own recurring HR dashboards and reporting packages, including headcount, turnover, early-tenure attrition, onboarding status, open positions, leave trends, and other People metrics
- Manage the monthly “HR at a Glance” reporting cadence, ensuring timely reporting, strong data integrity, and leadership-ready summaries
- Build, maintain, validate, and distribute recurring People reports that highlight workforce and operational trends
- Support and improve operational workflows tied to background checks, employment agreements, internal offers, surveys, ticketing, and P&C inbox triage
- Help manage the shared P&C service workflow, including inbox and ticketing triage, SLA tracking, recurring task calendars, SOPs, and process documentation
- Coordinate administration and analysis of climate surveys, pulse surveys, exit surveys, and 30/90-day surveys
- Support People & Culture acquisition and integration workstreams, including diligence trackers, Day 1 readiness items, documentation, and status updates
- Support administration of designated P&C vendors and tools, monitor service quality, and identify improvement opportunities
- Support document governance and process consistency across handbooks, intranet updates, templates, notices, and operating procedures
- Manage periodic reporting and documentation requirements such as EEO, BLS, audit support, and record requests
- Partner closely with Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Benefits, P&C leadership, Finance, Operations, and other stakeholders to improve teammate experience and execution
- Build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Analytics, Finance, Operations, or a related field preferred
- 2–4 years of experience in HR operations, people analytics, HRIS/reporting, shared services, business operations, or a similarly analytical role
- Strong Excel and reporting skills, including experience working with large data sets and summarizing trends for leaders
- Experience supporting or improving operational workflows such as ticketing systems, inbox/request triage, onboarding, or recurring reporting cadences
- Strong project coordination and process management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and leadership
- High level of discretion with sensitive employee data
- Experience supporting a multi-state workforce, Dayforce or a comparable HRIS, survey administration, or compliance reporting preferred
- Comfort using AI tools to improve reporting, documentation, workflow design, and operational efficiency is a plus
- Experience in a high-growth or PE-backed environment is a plus
