Job Description
We are seeking individuals who will be responsible for providing an exceptional experience to customers, preparing and serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and contributing to the overall smooth operation of the cafe.
Dishwasher:
- Clean dishes, utensils, pots, and pans following established dishwashing methods and return to appropriate areas
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen equipment and surfaces
- Assist in bussing customer dishes in dining areas
- Empty and clean trash receptacles regularly
- Assist with kitchen maintenance tasks as needed
- Food Safety: Adhere to food safety standards, including proper food handling, storage, and temperature control, to prevent contamination and ensure food quality
Promotion Path:
- Gain experience and demonstrate reliability and attention to detail in dishwashing duties
- Express interest in learning other kitchen tasks and assisting cooks during downtime
- Seek opportunities for cross-training and skill development to move into a prep dishwasher or cook position
Prep Dishwasher:
- Adhere to all duties of dishwasher
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of food preparation areas
- Assist line cooks with basic food assembly tasks
Pay Rates and Benefits:
- $17.00
- 401k after 3 months of employment
- Free meal every shift
- Tips ranging $7.00-$12.00/hour
