Job Title: R&D Technician
Purpose: The R&D Technician is responsible for supporting R&D Scientists performing new project research and testing with the goal of creating innovative products with real efficacy. R&D Technician will assist with formulating and entering new product development requests under the guidance of the R&D Scientists and Director of R&D. The R&D Technician will support the R&D department as a whole by learning the basic tasks that the R&D Scientists and Director of R&D are responsible for in regard to new product testing and development.
Principal Accountabilities:
-Conduct independent research to identify possibilities for novel products and assist the R&D Scientists with presenting idea proposals
-Support R&D regarding proposed new product ideas, sourcing, reformulations, and testing
-Make experimental lab batches and perform stability testing as needed
-Use analytical instrumentation and other labs to full potential for formulation and testing
-Maintain appropriate stock of lab materials and ensure all equipment is properly validated and calibrated based on industry standards
Position Requirements:
· B.S. or B.A. in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Cosmetic Science or a related scientific discipline.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team with excellent written and verbal communication, computer and organizational skills.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
