POSITION PURPOSE:
This position is responsible for the timely and accurate order processing for the Activar Construction Products Group.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk throughout the building. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, and lift/move office materials/boxes up to 15 pounds.

POSITION PURPOSE:
This position is responsible for the timely and accurate order processing for the Activar Construction Products Group.
Principal Accountabilities
- Receive customer purchase order; determine customer number, part number, pricing, shipping requirements, lead time, responsibility center and cost center associated with the order.
- For orders with new part numbers, request part numbers from the ACPG Engineering group or use of internal DriveWorks.
- Enter the order in the Sales Order module within BC.
- For “Drop Ship” orders, check the appropriate box to ensure the timely Purchasing of the product by the ACPG Buyer.
- Accurately file the Sales Order in the appropriate Sales Order file for ACPG.
- Process change orders as required.
- Conduct himself/herself in a professional manner in accordance with company guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Tenacity in overcoming obstacles while maintaining productive and positive working relationships.
- Ability to execute in a rapidly changing fast paced environment that requires strong team work.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the capacity to learn new systems.
- Highly accurate data entry skills.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience in a relevant administrative or customer service setting.
- Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D. certification.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
