Responsibilities of Sales Leader (Engineer)
- Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, and attending trade shows and conferences
- Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs and explain how specific products and services can meet these needs
- Provide leadership, guidance, and performance oversight to a team of sales representatives
- Help customers select products to meet customers’ needs, product specifications, and regulations
- Emphasize product features that will meet customers’ needs, and exhibit the capabilities and limitations of their products
- Answer customers’ questions about the prices, availability, and uses of the products they are selling
- Negotiate prices and terms of sales and service agreements
- Communicate with managers or on work status and client issues that arise
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements of Sales Leader (Engineer)
- Bachelor's degree in International Business or related discipline or equivalent experience.
- 5-10 years of account representative experience for automotive industry is a MUST.
- Willingness to travel 60% of the time, including the overnight travel.
- Prior experience leading, supervising, or mentoring team members in a Team Lead, Supervisor, or similar capacity is required
- Excellent interpersonal communications and presentation skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Demonstrated career stability with a proven track record of long-term employment and professional growth
- Driver's License with clear records
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
- Work responsibly, effectively, and independently
- Teamwork skills are a MUST!
