This is a part-time, on-site role located in Tualatin, OR, for an Athletic Trainer. The trainer will be responsible for conducting injury prevention services, including ergonomic assessments, early intervention strategies, and employee education. Day-to-day responsibilities involve evaluating and addressing early signs and symptoms of musculoskeletal disorders, coaching employees on proper ergonomics, and providing injury prevention training tailored to the needs of the workforce. Additionally, the Athletic Trainer will collaborate with management and employees to foster a culture of safety in the workplace.
- Proficiency in injury prevention techniques, ergonomic assessments, and musculoskeletal system evaluation
- Experience in conducting workplace training, educational workshops, and effective coaching for employees
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with both employees and management
- Knowledge of OSHA compliance and workplace safety regulations
- Certification as an Athletic Trainer (ATC) or related credential; bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Experience in occupational health or industrial settings is an advantage
