Position Overview:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the overall organization, storage, and distribution of company and client goods. The Manager oversees a wide variety of warehouse activities related to shipping/receiving, maintaining inventories and records, and addressing personnel issues with hiring, training, scheduling, OSHA compliance, performance, and maintaining team morale. The Manager ensures that every step of the logistics process is functioning effectively to avoid delays and lost sales opportunities and maintains accountability for all loss prevention and loss prevention procedures. This role requires exceptional detail orientation and relationship building skills to accurately and strategically manage the movement of goods, continually liaising with a variety of stakeholders including suppliers, retailers, vendors, and consumers.
SCHEDULE & LOCATION:
- 40 hours per week
- Mondays through Fridays, 7:00am - 4:00pm
- ActionLink's Warehouse Office Facility at 7570 Dean Martin Dr #605 in Las Vegas

DUTIES:
- Create, implement, and adjust policies, processes, and tools best suited to the specific requirements of ActionLink contracts, inventory control, procurement, distribution, and the logistics functional team
- Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
- Monitor the quality, quantity, cost, and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods
- Comply with federal, state and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by keeping abreast of existing and new legislation; enforce adherence to requirements and advise management on needed actions
- Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and safety protocols
- Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with data storage records
- Maintain physical condition of warehouse facility by planning and implementing new design layouts, inspecting equipment, and issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement
- Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions, producing daily, weekly, and monthly status reports
- Complete warehouse operational requirements by scheduling/assigning employees and following up on work results
- Maintain warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
- Identify and oversee cost reduction practices for all activities throughout the warehouse
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current forklift certification required
- Minimum 5 years experience in the warehousing/logistics industry
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory/management capacity
- Minimum 3 years of experience with process improvement duties
- Demonstrated ability to lead and work with large cross-functional teams and projects
- Strong proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and/or Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organization, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to positively lead and manage a team in a fast paced and evolving environment
- Working knowledge of material handling design, cost analysis, and project management techniques
- High level of competency in Microsoft Office products
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to travel as requested, locally by vehicle and/or nationally by plane
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to rent a car under ActionLink’s corporate insurance standards
- Must be able to use a computer, phone, and other standard office equipment
- Must have basic understanding and ability to use hand-held and power tools
- Must be mobile and able to sit and/or stand for periods of time
- Must be able to stoop, climb ladders, and exert force/lift up to 50 lbs in compliance with OSHA standards
