The Service Desk – Asset Specialist manages Treasury’s IT asset inventory, tracking all hardware and software deployed in the TSDN environment. Ensures compliance with property control standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain IT asset management database.
- Track deployment, relocation, and disposal of IT assets.
- Conduct physical inventory and reconciliations.
- Generate reports for asset accountability.
- Ensure compliance with Treasury asset policies.
- Support Service Desk with equipment deployment.
- Active Secret clearance (T-3).
- Associate degree or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of IT asset management or inventory control.
- Experience with ITAM/CMDB tools.
- Ability to lift and move IT equipment (up to 50 lbs).
- CompTIA IT Fundamentals or similar certification.
- Experience with ServiceNow Asset Management.
- Knowledge of federal property management standards.
