Red Hat Linux Administrator

ActioNet has an opportunity for a Red Hat Linux Administrator requiring a SECRET clearance in Vienna, VA

The Red Hat Linux Administrator supports provides administration and support for Treasury’s Linux-based systems, focusing on disaster recovery and continuity of operations. Ensures Linux systems are secure, patched, and available to support mission requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers.
• Implement disaster recovery and backup strategies.
• Patch and update Linux systems in compliance with security baselines.
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Document system configurations and SOPs.
• Support COOP exercises and failover testing.
  
  

Basic Qualifications (Required)

• Active Secret clearance (T-3).
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
• 5 years of Red Hat Linux administration.
• Knowledge of Linux security hardening (DISA STIGs).
• Experience with shell scripting.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).
• Experience with virtualization platforms.
• Knowledge of Ansible automation.
